President of Slovakia Ivan Gasparovic ending his second term in office started a two-day official visit to Poland on Tuesday. Apart from Warsaw, Gasparovic is also to visit Malbork and Frombork, northern Poland.
Polish presidential Minister Jaromir Sokolowski has said that the visit will be a good occasion to "thank for his commitment to the strengthening of Polish-Slovak relations."
The visit's agenda foresees plenary talks as well as a meeting of Presidents Bronislaw Komorowski and Ivan Gasparovic with the media. The Slovak guest is also scheduled to meet with Senate Speakers Bogdan Borusewicz. (PAP)
