CHICAGO AUTO SHOW HIGHLIGHTS PREMIER PARTNERS, NEW ACTIVATIONS

CHICAGO (Feb. 5, 2020) – The Chicago Auto Show is proud to announce that State Farm, Wintrust and Turtle Wax will all return as premier partners of the 2020 Chicago Auto Show. In addition to premium exhibit space on the show floor, each partner will offer various promotional activities throughout the run of the show, Feb. 8-17, at McCormick Place. Premier partners enjoy category exclusivity and receive additional exposure to show attendees through premier partner benefits packages. As the longest-standing premier partner with a relationship that dates back more than a decade, State Farm returns with its Good Neighbor Help Center. Staffed by State Farm representatives throughout the duration of the public show, the Good Neighbor Help Center will remain the primary destination in the Grand Concourse where show-goers can get a variety of questions answered and assistance navigating the nation’s largest auto show. Additionally, the longtime partner will feature a brand-new exhibit which will include safe driving simulators bringing virtual reality to life. Show-goers will be encouraged to hop in the driver’s seat and experience the unexpected while earning points for their safe-driving ability. The exhibit will also feature an autograph signing event on Friday, Feb. 14 with former Chicago Bulls forward, Scottie Pippen, from 5-7 p.m. Returning as the exclusive bank sponsor and presenting partner of the Supercar Gallery -- an area at the show featuring rare, exotic and ultra-high-performance sports cars -- Wintrust continues to make its mark in Chicagoland. Additionally, Wintrust offered its customers and show-goers multiple opportunities to gain exclusive access inside the Wintrust Supercar Gallery via a sweepstakes for the chance to win a VIP experience, including four Chicago Auto Show tickets, four VIP access passes to the Wintrust Supercar Gallery, an overnight hotel stay at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, a $100 dinner gift card, a $50 gas gift card and custom themed apparel. Wintrust will also continue as a corporate supporter of the show’s First Look for Charity black-tie charity gala, held on Feb. 7, as the company is committed to going above and beyond banking solutions to support Chicagoland communities. Introduced as a new premier partner in 2019, Chicago-based Turtle Wax is back in 2020 to help make its hometown shine. “Turtle Wax is proud to continue to partner with the Chicago Auto Show, one of the area’s marquee cultural events, to showcase the latest in automotive innovation,” said Turtle Wax Co-chairmen Denis Healy, and wife, Sondra Healy. “As a family-owned company with deep roots in Chicago, it’s our way of celebrating the automakers, local drivers and dealers that inspire Turtle Wax and power the Chicagoland automotive industry.” This year, Turtle Wax has added a robust lineup of special events and detailing demonstrations within their South Hall exhibit – appealing to both car enthusiasts and everyday consumers alike. Special guests range from famous YouTube personalities to dynamic detailers including Pan the Organizer, Jimbo from Auto Detailing Podcast and Brian Spitler from APEX Auto Detail. Demonstrations on a 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt will take place each day of the public show on the hours 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Additionally, throughout the entirety of the show, fans can pick up a full-size bottle of Turtle Wax’s Spray & Wipe car interior cleaning product, while supplies last. Spray & Wipe made its debut at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show to rave reviews, so the brand wanted to show its appreciation to Chicagoans for their support. Also based in Chicago, Cars.com returns to the 2020 show as the official map sponsor to help show-goers find their perfect match when car shopping. Expanding on that topic, Cars.com is offering fans a new opportunity to win a guided tour with one of its automotive expert editors to take the guesswork out of new-car shopping. Beginning Feb. 3, fans can enter to win the experience via the Chicago Auto Show’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/ChicagoAutoShow. Winners will have the chance to walk the show floor with unfettered access to automotive industry experts. As the nation's largest auto show, the Chicago Auto Show features more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space showcasing brand-new vehicle introductions and a complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars, trucks, sport-utility vehicles, minivans and concept cars. In all, nearly 1,000 different vehicles will be on display including hundreds of interactive, aftermarket, accessory and auto-related exhibits, competition vehicles, antique and collector cars. The 2020 Chicago Auto Show will also feature four indoor test track experiences, three outdoor ride-and-drive opportunities and dozens of interactive exhibits located throughout the show floor.
