Lecture: “A Theory of Cartel Formation – Policy Implications”

The University community is invited to attend a lecture titled “A Theory of Cartel Formation – Policy Implications” by Dr. Jacek Prokop, Vice Rector for International Relations and Head of Department of Business Economics at Warsaw School of Economics. Free and open to the public, the lecture will take place from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, July 19, on the Main Campus in BBH 113 / Northeastern Illinois University, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60625 Prokop earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. After spending four years in the doctoral program at Virginia Tech, he became a tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Management and Strategy (Department of Strategy, now) at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where he has taught and conducted research for seven years. The event is hosted by PEACER and the Department of Economics in cooperation with the Office of International Programs. fot.Northeastern University
