Former Governor of Florida Jeb Bush, one of the Republican favourites in next year’s US presidential elections, is planning to visit Poland, Estonia and Germany in June.
It will be his first ever visit to Estonia and Poland, and according to his spokesperson, the aim of the trip is to gain insights into the economic situation in this part of Europe and have talks on ‘growing security threats’ in the region.
While in Poland, Jeb Bush is to meet representatives of the government, the business community, civil society and NGOs.
The 52-year-old is the second son of former President George H.W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush, and the younger brother of former President George W. Bush. (mk/nh)
