The 800hp Arrinera Hussarya designed by UK-based Lee Noble has been officially unveiled in Poznań.
The Hussarya – named after the notorious Polish hussars of the 16th-18th centuries – boasts an 8.2 litre V8, which is able to deliver up of 800 horespower and over 660 lb/ft of torque.
It was unveiled at the 2015 Poznań Auto Show following years of development.
The engine is nested in a bespoke carbon-fiber and Kevlar chassis, with more state-of-the-art materials being used for the body.
These innovations help keep the weight down, while at the same time providing rigidity to the overall structure.
The body was designed by famed UK automotive designer Lee Noble, who has already worked with British carmakers Ascari and Ultima.
According to the Arrinera website, the car’s “Muscular body and dynamic, fluent body lines, emphasise the exceptional capabilities of a supercar. Emotion charged design is like a dream come true about a sophisticated, elegant and nimble sports car. Hussarya has been created to bring joy and excitement not only at high speeds but also to everyday driving.”
No prices for the Hussarya have been announced. (rg)
