NEIU invites you for a lecture titled “Holocaust Commemoration in Poland Now”

You are cordially invited to attend a lecture titled “Holocaust Commemoration in Poland Now” by Tomasz Lysak from the University of Warsaw in Poland.
Lysak is an applied linguist whose work focuses on representations of the Holocaust in relation to trauma studies and psychoanalysis. He has held fellowships at the University of Washington, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Chicago.
The talk will take place on Thursday, April 12 at 4:30 p.m. in the Language Lab on the fourth floor of the Ronald Williams Library at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago. The event is hosted by the Department of World Languages and Cultures, the Department of Linguistics, the Polish and European Academic Center for Exchange Research (PEACER) at NEIU, and the Chicago Chapter of the Kosciuszko Foundation.
