PM Kopacz: Poland is much safer now than it was 8 years ago

The threat to national security has decreased significantly over the past decade, said Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz.
“In every dimension, Poland is now safer than it was eight years ago,” said the Polish Prime Minister on Tuesday.
A report on national security was presented during an extraordinary governmental meeting in the northeastern Polish meeting of Białystok. It described the risk factors affected by the country and how to face them.
"I can proudly say that in every dimension, Poland is by far safer today than it was eight years ago," Kopacz said.
While details of the report were confidential, the head of Poland's federal crisis centre, Janusz Skulich, said that this was the "third edition of such a report" and constitutes "an inventory of the principal risks that could undermine the security interests of the Polish state, threaten the life, health [of Poles], and also the risks which could occur outside the country, and may relate to Polish citizens."
