Polish President Duda meets UK PM Cameron

The two politicians discussed the immigration crisis, security, military and energy issues, during Polish President’s Andrzej Duda’s two-day visit to the UK.

Following the meeting, the Polish President told reporters that the conversation concerned important European issues, including the problem of refugees in the European Union.
“We agreed that we must first fight the causes of what makes these people travel to Europe,” Andrzej Duda told reporters in London.
The president added that Prime Minister Cameron discussed military and energy security.
“Prime Minister [Cameron] agreed that it is necessary to develop the infrastructure of NATO in Central and Eastern Europe, which also means strengthening the Alliance's eastern flank,” Duda said on his second and last day of a trip to Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
“I can say that this meeting was very good, […] we have lot of possibilities for cooperation,” Duda said. (rg)
