Prezydent Rosji Władimir Putin spotka się z prezydentem Kirgistanu Ałmazbekiem Atambajewem w najbliższy poniedziałek 16 marca w Petersburgu - poinformowała w piątek służba prasowa Kremla. Putin od ośmiu dni nie pojawia się publicznie.
Jak sprecyzowano w komunikacie, podczas rozmów obu przywódców będą omawiane "kluczowe zagadnienia dotyczące dalszego wzmocnienia współpracy rosyjsko-kirgiskiej, przede wszystkim w dziedzinie handlu i inwestycji, w sferze kulturalnej, a także w sektorze energetycznym".
Służby prasowe Kremla poinformowały, że planowana jest "szczegółowa wymiana poglądów na temat współpracy w kontekście przystąpienia Kirgistanu do Eurazjatyckiej Unii Gospodarczej".
Informacja o spotkaniu prezydentów pojawiła się w sytuacji, gdy prezydent Rosji od ośmiu dni nie pojawia się publicznie. Jedynie na stronie internetowej Kremla publikowane są informacje o niepublicznej aktywności głowy państwa. Rzecznik prezydenta Dmitrij Pieskow konsekwentnie zaprzecza, jakoby Putin był chory.
Po raz ostatni prezydent Rosji pojawił się przed dziennikarzami 5 marca, gdy gościł na Kremlu premiera Włoch Matteo Renziego.
Według byłego doradcy prezydenta Rosji ds. gospodarczych Andrieja Iłłarionowa zniknięcie Putina jest wynikiem "spisku generałów", który zawiązał się w Moskwie. Iłłarionow twierdzi, że jego konsekwencją będzie rychłe odsunięcie Putina od władzy. (PAP)

US and allies target Islamic State in Syria
