The Council of Educators in Polonia (CEP) is cordially inviting to the 20th Polish-American Heritage celebration on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), 6-9 pm in Student Union Building, Alumni Hall, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave. in Chicago.

This year program is devoted to Tadeusz Kosciuszko, hero of both nations: Poland and the United States.

This year CEP Heritage Awards go to:

Christina Ciecierski
Professor of Economics, NEIU

Community Service Award
Lucyna Migala
Founder and Artistic Director, Lira Ensemble

Alumni Award
Michalina Maliszewska
Coordinator of Graduate Studies, NEIU

Educator of the Year
Ewa Jablonska
Mathematics Teacher, Roosevelt High School, CPS

Awards/ Scholarship for students will be announced at the event.

The event is free, but registration is recommended. Reservations could be made at or 773-391-4744. Free parking in the garage on the 4 and 5 level.
