KIEDY? Otwarcie wystawy 19 stycznia, godz. 15.30 – 18.30. Wystawę można oglądac do 24 lutego 2013 r.

On Saturday afternoon, January 19, 2013 the Polish Museum of America, 984 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, and the Polish Air Force (PAF) Veterans Association invite you to an exhibit “The Polish Air Force in World War II”. The exhibit highlights the exploits of Polish squadrons who first were overwhelmed by the Luftwaffe in September 1939 and later in France in 1940. Then during the Battle of Britain they were the highest scoring group of pilots among the “few” who saved Britain and possibly Western civilization, during the dark days of the German Luftwaffe’s “blitz” in WWII. The PAF then moved on the offensive and was on the winning side, though the Poles were excluded from the victory Parade in London.

The opening of the exhibit will take place from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the Great Hall of the Polish Museum of America. Admission to the opening is $10.00 with Veterans and PMA Members paying $5.00. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be on view till February 24, 2013.
